Lesbos

Luxor, Lesbos, Tiruchendur... Ploy grew thoughtful as she sipped her steamy double roast Arabica. "He is fixing on sand and sea again. It scares me a little. Somehow, I just don't see him making a comeback. Thailand was just a holiday for Kavi." "Our roving archangel again?" Bala remarked. "Why worry?" "I'm not!... Down deep I'm sure he's in control. As Matsuo Basho centuries before him, Kavi is committed to the sotto voce set-up where the wandering hero drops dead on the highway." Jeanna didn't feel as assured as his lover; but then, what could he know – having never met Kavi – nor spoken to the man on the telephone. Photographs and film clips were all he had ever seen... But enough of our embodiment of rare ambiguity. That ambient new age thinking music had once again imbued their cozy apartments, even long past their tantric lovemaking. Bala watched, astounded as she stood near the window, all but naked in the sheerest of cottons: the painful severity of puissance and beauty as revealed in the sorceress's sacral dimples. She clung to the window frame and lowered her gaze to the dawn-lit streets of the small Flemish city, her eyes coursing slowly the length of the moat to the two arcing bridges that crossed to the castle.

England v Greece Betting Tips

William Hill have cut the odds about England getting off to a winning start under new boss Steve McClaren when they take on Greece in midweek to 4/9 from 1/2. "Punters are generally positive people and they are anticipating a successful start to life under McClaren - and we are also seeing support for him to go unbeaten for his first six games at 5/2," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. Greece are 6/1 to win the game at Old Trafford on Wednesday while the draw is 5/2. Hills are also offering 13/8 that David Beckham will get back into the England side, but punters don't want to know. "We have taken almost nothing for a Beckham comeback," said Sharpe. Hills make Beckham a 4/9 chance never to win another cap and offer 10/3 that he makes it to a century of caps. His current tally is 94.

Premiership Relegation Odds

The exploits last season of West Ham and Wigan have shown that it's far from impossible for promoted sides to thrive in their first season in the top flight. At least one newly-promoted club has made an immediate return to the Championship in every season of the Premiership bar one and, while Sunderland kept that trend going in 2005/6, the Hammers and Latics showed the gulf in class can be overcome in style. And perhaps that word 'style' is the key one to bear in mind because that pair - who both finished well behind Sunderland in the Championship - adopted a hugely positive approach to the Premiership thanks to their bright and imaginative managers and reaped the benefits. By rights the Hammers shouldn't have had a chance - they lost a staggering 15 times in the Championship yet managed a top half finish in the top flight as well as reaching the FA Cup final. It was all in stark contrast to Sunderland who failed to inspire with a rash of summer signings and that was reflected on the pitch as they never really got up and running, finishing with a record low of 15 points to prop up the rest of the table.

Be well-rounded

I think one of the keys is to be well-rounded. There are many books and philosophies about web rankings that are floating around. Some people say article marketing is the way to go, others link building, others say you have to maximize your web pages for the search engines. You have to get all your keywords right and your titles and description. But what happens when another web site does you one better in that area? Now you drop in rank. Therefore, I think it is more important that you do a good job in all the areas than to be the very best in one area. And I think it is OK to be number 8 or number 3 in rank, also. If you are in the very top spot and you are clicked simply because the top spot gets more clicks, are you really going to get more sales just because you are number one? Your product and site have to be relevant to the consumer, not just the search engine. Another key is to focus on very specific keywords. You can do an awesome job in every area of search engine optimization, but if you go too thin here, you will not make it to number one in any of your keywords. Focus on one, or at the most, two keywords. Build your site around those keywords. Be everything you can be to someone who keys in those keywords. Or better yet, one keyword. Would you rather have one keyword that has a number one placement, or 8 keywords with a number 40 placement each? To me, number 40 is like number 1 million-you don't get enough clicks to pay the bills. I would far rather have one keyword for which my site is on the first page of results than twenty that are all over the place. Build yourself a web site that has a strong keyword density-for one or two keywords. Put those keywords in your title and description and keyword lists.
